Lelia Brown Nutting and Esteban Angel Ferrer were married Saturday at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York. The Very Rev. Dr. James A. Kowalski, an Episcopal priest and the dean of the cathedral, performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Ferrer, 53, is a residential real estate agent at the Mottola Group, in Greenville, Del., which is part of Patterson Schwartz & Associates, a real estate agency in Wilmington, Del. She graduated from Western Michigan University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Detroit.
She is a daughter of Eleanor Bryan Brown and Robert Charles Brown of Commerce Township, Mich.
Mr. Ferrer, 58, is a senior partner in the New York law firm Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where he specializes in securities and mergers and acquisitions. He graduated from Dickinson College and received a law degree from Columbia.
The bridegroom is the son of the late Ofelia Colmenares Ferrer, who lived in Larchmont, N.Y., and the late Esteban A. Ferrer, who lived in Key Biscayne, Fla.
The bride’s previous marriage ended in divorce. The bridegroom was a widower.
